AI USE POLICY
The scientific journal Public Administration and State Security Aspects has developed this policy in accordance with the position of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) on the use of artificial intelligence tools in scholarly publications.
Authorship and AI
× Artificial intelligence (AI) tools may not be listed as authors of a manuscript. Authorship implies accountability for the accuracy and integrity of the work, which AI tools cannot bear.
Author Obligations
Disclosure of AI use
Authors are required to disclose the use of AI tools within the manuscript or in a separate statement preceding the reference list. The following must be disclosed: the name of the tool used and the purpose of its use (text editing, translation, data analysis, etc.).
Responsibility for content
Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy and correctness of any content that was generated or processed with the assistance of AI.
× The use of AI to generate research data, results, or conclusions constitutes a violation of publication ethics.
Reviewers and Editors
× Reviewers and editors are prohibited from uploading manuscripts or any parts thereof to any AI systems. This violates the confidentiality of the review process, infringes copyright, and may result in data leakage.
› Limited use of AI to improve the quality of a written review is permitted solely on the condition that it is transparently declared to the relevant editor.
